On Sunday, August 3, 1957 he stepped onto this earth as a beautiful caramel brown baby boy with gorgeous copper brown eyes to match. Mutdear raised Kent and his six immediate siblings in a loving environment where she always taught them to stand on that word and to trust and believe in GOD no matter what!
Growing up Kent played all types of sports as a favorite past time his all-time favorites were softball and baseball for which he excelled and received multiple trophies.
Kent attended Detroit Public Schools, he went to Southeastern High School transferred and graduated from Finney High School with the class of 1976. After graduation Kent went to Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan and from there he decided to serve his country, so he joined the United States Marine Corp.
